Oh, darn!
I went out to buy food tonight, and guess what? Practically no pre-made raw goodies were available!
Oops. I guess I should not be depending on them always being ready for me to buy and enjoy. Still, I am a little disappointed as I was really looking forward to having Buffalo Bites again.
This will change my strategy for the day time meals when I am at the office. I think I will be making chia gel pudding in the morning and taking it to work in my cooler lunch bag. Good thing I bought it!
On the bright side, after about two weeks of not being able to find a decent bunch of kale – they had plenty, so I know what will be in my smoothie tomorrow morning.
Today I had the following:
Meal #1 @8:15am
For my morning smoothie, I combined:
- 3 collard leaves – 2 medium, 1 huge
- 2.5 oz of baby spinach
- 2 stalks of celery
- 3 small bananas
- 10oz of blueberries, frozen
- 1 tablespoon of hemp seeds
- water
Huge blueberry green smoothie
It’s almost a tradition now, that I have 32oz of the smoothie immediately, and put the rest in the fridge for later. That’s what I did with the remaining 14oz today.
This smoothie was not very suitable for green smoothie beginners. Even though it was not bitter, it had a strong green taste. I did enjoy it though
Meal #2 @ 12:15pm
For lunch I had store bought raw lasagna. It was very good, although with only two days until the expiration date, it was not as perfect as the ones I had before.
I also had some red grapes (about 20) and 1 date.
Meal #3 @ 8:00pm
This meal actually started about an hour earlier, with what remained of the morning smoothie.
Then I had a big salad, made from:
- 5 oz of mixed herb greens
- 2 large tomatoes
- 1 huge cucumber
- dressing made from 1 avocado and 1 orange

It was delicious, but I barely finished it – it took me about 40 minutes, too.
After the salad, considering how many greens I had today, I needed something sweet. So, I had half of a Chocolate Mint Nib Pie.

The entire thing is about 2″ in diameter, and about 1/3″ tall. It is very rich and very good. Here are the ingredients:

This was the only pre-made item I bought during my food shopping trip today, by the way. Well, I had to get something
Normally I would not eat such a rich dessert at this time, but the Rangers are on the West Coast, playing Vancouver tonight, so I’ll be up for quite a while
Today, I had the following snacks:
- 1 handful of goji berries
- 1 apple, fuji
On to day 26…
